Integrated Learning
ll teachers have the opportunity to use any of the Crosswinds computer labs (one lab with 30 desktop computers and 4 mobile labs with 16-20 laptop computers) in their classes. Students frequently use computers for research, presentations, and word processing. In addition, the art and music classes integrate computers into at least one major project each term.
The International Baccalaureate Middle Years Program emphasizes technology as a distinct subject with a focus on creating products to solve problems. Students learn to follow the Design Cycle when they create products, whether it is a PowerPoint presentation or a model for science class. |
